In short: Shopwhile does not collect personal data. Your game progress stays on your iPhone. The game has no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
This policy explains how the Shopwhile app (shown as “Shopwhile” or “来客啦”) and this website handle information.
Information the app collects
The app does not collect or send personal data to the developer. It has no account sign-in, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Its game features do not use a developer-operated account or game server.
Information stored on your iPhone
Shopwhile saves your game progress and preferences in the app’s local storage. This includes your shop inventory, cash, customer visits, shop upgrades, opening hours, language, sound, and notification settings. The app does not upload or sync this information. Like other app data, it may be included in a device backup you choose to make; Apple handles backups under its own policies.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local notifications on your iPhone for planned customer visits and, when applicable, a restock reminder. Notification times and their content are prepared on your device. No remote notification service is used by the game, and notification information is not sent to the developer.
In-app purchases
The Bert’s Wholesale unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. The app checks the purchase entitlement using Apple’s StoreKit services. We do not receive your Apple Account credentials or full payment details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy and, in China mainland, Apple’s privacy policy for China.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from users of any age, including children.
Keeping or deleting game data
Your progress remains in the app’s local storage while the app is installed. Deleting the app can delete that data. Shopwhile does not keep a copy on a developer server, so we have no game data to access, correct, or delete for you.
This website
This website does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. The language choice you make is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it; it is not sent to us. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. If you email support, we use your email address and message to respond to you.
Changes to this policy
If the way Shopwhile handles information changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
